The planning and building of our cross-country course has been one of the most exciting events at Epworth Equestrian Ltd!
We were eager to have a course that we could be proud of - suitable for first time cross-country goers and experienced eventers alike. Lots to inspire, plenty to challenge and enough to build confidence.
The decision was made to call in the professionals! And Stuart Buntine has done a superb job in designing our course to that specification! 
 Jumps have various heights (2'6"- 3'0") and levels of difficulty to choose from.
Those wanting a quiet ride may pop over the smaller fences, or even go round them if they wish (many riders simply enjoy taking in our course's wonderful scenery!). 
Riders seeking a more hair-raising experience are invited to attempt the larger, more tricky jumps! Clients return to use our course time and time again, stating the quality and variety of our fences as the reason for their return!
Finally, you may prefer to try something inbetween these two extremes!
Whatever your criteria - we're sure you'll have a fantastic time! 
"QUICK" XC COURSE INFO AND HIRE DETAILS
- Fence heights range from 2'6" to 3'0".
- Our XC course ground is self-draining sandy soil - perfect for year round riding!
- The entire course is approximately 2 miles long, and contains 21 jumps.

- XC course hire is £15 per horse
- XC and SJ course hire is granted at the discount price of £20 per horse
(Usual SJ course hire = £8 per horse)
We don't set specific hire times.
Most clients find an hour is sufficient, whilst others require an hour and a half to 2 hours.
All clients are given at least an hours hire for the above price, but as long as nobody's waiting - we're not strict in asking people to leave.

Please be advised that hats to PAS015/ BSEN1384 standard and body protectors must be worn at all times.
Anyone found not conforming to this rule will be asked to leave.
