EVENT PRACTICE Our Event Practices' give both horse and rider (of all levels) an opportunity to experience the various aspects of eventing without the pressure of a formal, competitive environment. We offer classes suitable for experienced eventers, and first-timers alike.
This gives Horse & Riders the opportunity to ensure they are ready and fit for the Eventing season ahead. Or those unsure if they are ready to take on all three phases, the chance to see without the added pressure of the competition. It is a perfect chance for those seasoned eventers who wish to use the day as a pre-season pratice run, who want to gain some eventing milage, or those who'd like to introduce a green horse to the sport are very welcome to do so.

We are very proud of our Event Practice facilities!
Dressage tests are held on one of our grass dressage arenas. Dressage is judged by qualified BD judges and all riders recieve their test sheets at the end of the day.
We have a large variety of showjumps which are usually situated on our grass showjumping ring. All jumps are maintained in perfect condition!
Lastly (but by no means least), our 21 fence cross country course - designed by Stuart Buntine - is always enjoyed by all!

Rider Attire
During the dressage and showjumping phases, riders are required to wear pale jodhpurs and a suitable jacket. Horses must be in legal tack for the dressage - so please look on the British Dressage website for details of what is currently acceptable.
XC colours may, of course, be worn throughout the cross country. We also insist on the wearing of body protectors, medical armbands and hats to PAS015/ BSEN1384 standard for this discipline
